DAY 1: Prototyping Pt 1
9 AM - 12 PM @ School
2 PM - 6 PM @ MS Team
For the first day, we planned to complete our two prototypes, the mobile app, and the website through MarvelApp. The two main developers, including me, are responsible for mobile applications while the others worked on the website.
We started off the day by going to school at 9 AM to have a briefing before we start doing work. We ended school at 12 PM but the hackathon will still resume through Microsoft Team. My team decided to spend our day together, we eat our lunch and head to our Scrum Master house to do our work together. We believe that this will enhance productivity and communication as going home will lead me to my bed...
At the end of the day, we didn't complete what we planned to do but it was a great day as we also discussed on flaws of our applications and how we plan to counter it. It was really tiring for all of us because of our school schedule. We had a great dinner and went home.
Here are SOME of the prototype I had complete on day 1:

DAY 2: ProtypiNG & Pitch
9 AM - 12 PM @ MS Team
2 PM - 6 PM @ School
We started off our Day 2 virtually through Microsoft Team. We are all drained from the day before so we decided to have a chill morning by talking and discussing our progress and work left to be done, and of course, more rest to store energy for the real sprint later.
We went to school in the afternoon fresh and ready to do everything. My teammates continue with the website while our scrum master Jun Wei started the pitch presentation first. I managed to complete 85% of the prototype by 6 PM. We had dinner together before we head home to continue.
Although I wanted to continue doing my work, I have an external commitment and unable to do so. I rushed home after my external commitment and continue my work at 10 PM with my teammates, finishing my prototype, and touching up all the UI to ensure consistency. While I'm doing my prototype, my teammates are working onI also ensure that the prototype on MarvelApp is linked to each other. When I'm done with my part, I helped my teammates with their pitch to ensure that we get our point across to the judges.
Here are all the images of our prototypes on MarvelApp:

Day 3: LAST day - Pitch and Touch Up
9 AM - 12 PM @ School
On the last day of the hackathon, we have to pitch our idea to the judges. We have 2 pitchers on our team, Jun Wei and Ivan. They both did a fantastic job of pitching our idea and we got chosen as the best pitch in our class. We are honored and very thankful for getting chosen, it is not possible without the help of our teachers in FSD and Portfolio 2.
Our pitch slides:

Overall, I think this is a great experience for all of us. We planned well and execute well to be able to finish everything we wanted on time. We have also planned on our work for sprint 3 after Hackathon. More about it will be updated here soon!
